The Hobby Treasury

Privacy Policy

Last updated 10 September 2026

The Hobby Treasury helps collectors scan cards and collectibles, estimate grade and value, and keep a private vault. This page explains what we store and what we never do.

What we collect

What we never collect

How your information is used

Only to run The Hobby Treasury for you: sign you in, identify and estimate cards, keep your vault, run Treasure Hunter and member marketplaces, and support membership. Photos you scan are processed so the app can identify and estimate the item.

Who can see what

Your vault is private by default. Items you put on the Store or Trading Floor, and Treasure Hunter matches you opt into, are visible to other members as needed to complete that feature. Other members do not see your phone number or email.

Who we share it with

Service providers that host the database, deliver sign-in codes, run card-recognition and estimate models, and process membership payments (Stripe). They process data only to provide that service and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

How it is stored

Your information is held in a private, access-controlled database and is encrypted in transit between your device and our servers.

Deleting your account

You can request deletion from the account deletion page, with or without the app installed. Deletion removes your account, sign-in identifier, vault items, hunts, listings and messages tied to you. Database backups roll off on their own within about 30 days.

Children

The Hobby Treasury is meant for adults who buy, sell and grade collectibles. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
